Soul & Ink designed and printed commemorative posters for L'Homme Cirque: The One Man Circus at Strathmore for opening weekend. Enter the magical world of David Dimitri. Lauded “Lord of the Wire” by The New York Times, this world-famous high wire dancer and veteran of Cirque du Soleil epitomizes innovation as he alone performs an entire circus.

Soul & Ink and Batang Kankaloo present the 2nd Annual SAMASAMA Art Show & Gathering presenting original work by artists of color from diaspora communities. Held in honor of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month in May 2018.

Events DC Cherry Blast!, a premier event of the National Cherry Blossom Festival, was a Japanese-inspired festival with food tastings from DCs best Asian chefs, interactive art and DJs. Guests are immersed in DC’s vibrant Tokyo streetscape highlighting Japan’s dynamic culture and ambiance as Dock 5 at Union Market is transformed.

Hosts Ferman Patterson and Michel Wright learn more about painting to the rhythm and are given a live screen printing demonstration by Soul & Ink at the 8:00 minute mark.

We joined the Smithsonian Asian Pacific American Center May 28-29, 2016 for "CrossLines: A Culture Lab on Intersectionality," featuring over 40 artists and scholars in the historic Smithsonian Arts & Industries Building. The Smithsonian Arts and Industries Building opened in 1880 as the first United States National Museum.

Soul & Ink was honored to partner with selected artists from the DMV and beyond on the curation of “KRU 2016: The Artist Collection.” Featuring artists that we consider to be modern day rebels, renegades, and freedom fighters. Read more here.
